Flexible claims and repairs that work
How a modular claims set-up turns a broken device into a good brand experience

For most customers, the claim is the only time they really use their insurance. It is also when they decide whether the protection, and the brand that sold it, was worth it. A slow, unclear process turns a broken device into lasting frustration. A fast, flexible one turns it into a reason to come back.
That is why we built claims and repairs as a modular set-up. Businesses offering protection through Fidamy can shape the claims experience around their customers, their brand and the services they already offer.
Put the customer at the centre
Traditional insurance is often reactive and built around policies rather than people. Embedded insurance lets a business design protection that reflects its own brand and services. With a modular claims and repairs set-up, you decide how customers are helped, whether you launch a new product or offer an existing one.
What customers want from a claim
In a survey we ran among consumers, three things came out on top when an insured device is damaged: a fast repair, replacement or payout; clear and regular communication; and the freedom to choose their own solution. Our claims set-up is designed around exactly those needs.
How Fidamy's set-up works
- Repair options that fit. Depending on how your product is set up, customers can go to a repair partner such as The Phone Lab, to your own technicians or to another repairer.
- No upfront repair costs. Customers do not have to pay for a repair themselves and claim the money back later. We settle with repair partners directly.
- Fast, clear handling. We automate as much of the process as possible to keep waiting times short, and keep the customer updated at every step.
- Flexible settlement. Claims can be settled by repair, replacement, a cash payout or a voucher for your own store. A voucher keeps the value with your brand, and a repair keeps the device in use.
Why it matters for your business
A good claims experience does more than resolve an incident. Customers come back to the brand that helped them, repair work can stay in house and repairing rather than replacing keeps devices in use for longer.
Computerzaak is a good example. Fidamy handles the claim intake and Computerzaak's own technicians carry out the repair, so the customer comes back to the store they bought from.
