Webwinkel Vakdagen is where Dutch e-commerce meets once a year. The 19th edition filled the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht on 25 and 26 March, with 12,702 visitors, more than 290 exhibitors and 316 speakers.

The organisers summed up the programme as a shift from AI hype to practical implementation, with agentic AI and AI search high on the agenda. We spent most of our time in conversation with retailers, electronics manufacturers, logistics software companies and finance partners.

No one owns the whole journey

What stands out is how connected Dutch e-commerce has become. A single order passes through a retailer, a manufacturer, a logistics platform and a payment provider before it reaches the customer. Each owns a piece of the experience.

Protection works the same way. Cover is sold at checkout, but it proves its value weeks or months later, when a device breaks and the customer needs a repair or replacement. That only works when the parties involved are connected.

Better offerings, built together

We met a lot of openness to working together on exactly that, and plenty of ideas for how. Built together, protection becomes part of a better offering, and customers get real peace of mind.

What's next

We're following up on the conversations we started in Utrecht. If we met, or should have, we'd be happy to host you at our office in Amsterdam or to see you at one of our upcoming partner events.
